Product Safety & Disclaimer

Last updated: 13 July 2026 · Governing law: England and Wales

Read this before using any Eaveline tool. Our products are for ground-level exterior upkeep only, never for working at height or on fragile surfaces.

Ground-level use only

Every Eaveline product is designed to be used while standing on firm, level ground. Never climb a roof, ladder, scaffold, wall or any structure to use them, and never work on fragile or sloping surfaces.

We do not sell ladders, scaffolding, access platforms, harnesses, fall-protection equipment, pressure washers, powered roofing equipment, roofing materials, membranes or sealants.

Telescopic poles and power lines

Telescopic poles have a maximum reach and must not be extended, modified or joined beyond their limit. Keep poles and tools well clear of overhead power lines and electrical cables at all times. Do not use poles in high winds, or on wet, icy or slippery ground.

We supply tools, not services

GREENAWAY ROOFING LIMITED, trading as Eaveline, sells tools only. We do not carry out, visit, quote for, sub-contract or arrange roofing, exterior, structural, waterproofing, electrical or construction work, and we do not broker contractors.

When to call a professional

Any work at roof height, above roof level, on fragile surfaces, or involving structure, drainage under load, electrics or building safety must be carried out by a qualified, insured professional in line with local building regulations.

Hazardous materials and surfaces

Do not disturb, scrub, sand or wash asbestos-cement roofing or panels, corrugated fibre sheets, or lead-based coatings. These materials can release harmful fibres or dust and must be handled only by suitably qualified specialists.

Cleaning products

We sell tools only. Any spray bottle supplied is empty; we do not sell regulated cleaning chemicals, solvents, bleach or mould treatments. If you use your own cleaning products, follow their safety data sheet, ventilate the area, wear appropriate protection, and never mix chemicals.

Surface compatibility

Stiff bristles, blades and scrubbers can scratch or mark delicate render, glass, painted or coated surfaces. Always test on a small, hidden area first. You are responsible for choosing the right tool for your surface and for safe use.

Battery and electrical items

Some kits include a battery-powered handheld flashlight. Use the specified battery type, do not short, crush or expose cells to heat, and recycle batteries per local regulations. Our flashlights are general household lighting and are not marketed as tactical or military equipment.

Your responsibility

By using our products you accept responsibility for safe, lawful use in line with this guidance. To the extent permitted by law, Eaveline is not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from misuse, use contrary to this guidance, or work that should be done by a professional.
